Outreach
Northside Feeding Program
This project, born of the leadership of Emanuel Church 21 years ago, continues to link our congregation with those in need around the city of Pittsburgh. It provides a vital opportunity for members to exercise their gifts in the service of others.
Elliott Heights Senior Housing Ministry
In response to their request for monthly Bible Study, Emanuel has led a time of study, singing and prayer at the Elliott Heights Complex in the neighborhood. Important and loving relationships have been established with our friends there.
Mission Project Support
Reaching locally, nationally and globally, Emanuel has three annual Mission projects planned by the Mission/Outreach Committee which we support financially.
Angel Tree for Family Links
Less fortunate children of Western Pennsylvania are offered many gifts through the amazing generosity of the Emanuel Church family.
Blankets for the Homeless
Extending God's love to the homeless, Emanuel provides blankets, food, clothing and compassion.
Lenten Breakfasts
An annual tradition in which many adults arrive early to the church in order to provide a good breakfast to between 80 and 100 children each week. Also a staple of the program are jokes, prayer and devotions.
Southwest Food Pantry
Emanuel has collected food and donations for the local food pantry for the more than a decade.
